Gebruder Weiss opens Air & Sea office near Stuttgart

Gebruder Weiss has opened an Air & Sea office in Esslingen, Baden-Wurttemberg, allowing customers to combine services for land transport, and air and sea freight.

The branch near Stuttgart aims to address the needs of the Rhein-Neckar region with services including import and export technicalities such as customs clearance.

The Austrian transport company has five Air & Sea offices in Germany, based in Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich and now Stuttgart/Esslingen.

Gebruder Weiss country manager Air & Sea Germany, Andreas Kayser says: “Business in our air and sea freight divisions is developing so well that we plan to make further investments in Germany.”

The company is increasing staff numbers with the number of employees increasing from 65 to 80 since the beginning of 2018.

Kayser says: “By reinforcing our teams, we intend to further enhance our services. Accordingly, we are permanently looking for air and sea freight experts.”
