Freight rises 1.6% in 1H2017 at Dubai International

Dubai International Airport’s freight traffic was up 1.6 per cent in the 1st half of 2017 as it handled 1,302,911 tonnes.

Operator Dubai Airports says this was a rise on the 1,282,025 tonnes that it handled during the same period in 2016.

The gateway handled 215,668 tonnes of freight in June, down on the 226,174 tonnes during the same month last year, a contraction of 4.6 per cent.
