Freight up 5% in July at Dubai International Airport

Dubai International Airport (DXB) saw a surge in cargo with freight totalling 213,258 tonnes in July, up five per cent compared on same month last year when it handled 203,153 tonnes.

During the first seven months of 2017, DXB handled a total of 1,516,169 tonnes of cargo compared to 1,485,177 tonnes during the same period in 2016, an increase of 2.1 per cent.
