Finnair Cargo head Kuusenmaki to leave

Finnair’s vice president head of cargo, Antti Kuusenmaki, has decided to leave Finnair Cargo in November to pursue other career opportunities.

He has been heading Finnair Cargo since December 2014 and will be replaced by head of Finnair’s operations control center (OCC), Janne Tarvainen, who will take on the role from 1 November 2015.

Janne has a long Finnair career behind him, having worked in various positions at technical operations and the past three years as the head of OCC.

Finnair’s chief commercial officer and Finnair Cargo’s managing director, Juha Jarvinen, says: “Antti Kuusenmaki has been an important part of our cargo team since 2012, and has been key driver in many development projects over the past three years. I extend my warm thanks to Antti for his contribution to the company.”

“With over 20 years of aviation experience, I am confident that Janne is the right person to successfully steer the cargo team in the upcoming growth phase”, adds Jarvinen.
