FedEx Express to start regular flights to San Bernardino

FedEx Express will start regular scheduled flights into San Bernardino International Airport, with daily operations starting in October 2018.

Located 60 miles east of Los Angeles along the I-10 corridor, the airport says it is ideally located to support the logistics industry.

The airport has access to the I-10, I-210 and I-215 interstate highways giving air cargo operators like FedEx Express the ability to expedite deliveries to end users and consumers.

FedEx Express will occupy a 57,000 square foot facility under a 10-year agreement, and the activity will enhance its air cargo network while creating new jobs at the airport.

Mayor of the city of San Bernardino and San Bernardino International Airport Authority president, Carey Davis says: “Our strategic investment in the Airport and surrounding business centre continues to strengthen our community by bringing jobs and commerce to the region.

“We are very excited to have FedEx expand flight operations into SBD International Airport. The Airport continues to serve as a major contributor to the economic growth in San Bernardino.”
