FCS and China Airlines extend handling contract

Fraport Cargo Services (FCS) and China Airlines have extended their cargo handling contract that has existed for more than 20 years.

No time length for the contract was given.

As of June 2016, the carrier plans to fly a bellyhold service to Taipei every day, the only airline non-stop service from Germany.

FCS managing director, Andreas Helfer says: “The fact that China Airlines has chosen as one of the leading airlines in Asia, continue to have their cargo handling in the future conduct of FCS, we are very pleased.

“The extension of the longstanding cooperation we see as appreciation and trust in the high standards, notably in safety, quality and service. These demands, we will of course meet in the future.”

China Airlines is Taiwan’s largest airline and is headquartered at Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei and has a network of over 115 destinations in 29 countries.
