Emirates to start Yangon and Hanoi services

Emirates is to increase its presence in South East Asia with daily flights to Yangon and Hanoi from 3 August.

The Boeing 777-300ER services will leave Dubai at 02.50h and arrive at Yangon International Airport at 11.05h. It will leave Yangon at 12.35h arriving at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport at 14.50h. The return flight will depart Hanoi at 22.50h, arriving in Yangon at 00.20h the next day, and returning to Dubai International Airport at 05.05h.

Emirates’ divisional senior vice president, strategic planning, revenue optimisation and aeropolitical affairs, Adnan Kazim says: “With the opening of this service, Emirates will enhance its Southeast Asia offering and offer more choices for travellers in Myanmar and Vietnam to conveniently connect to 39 cities in Europe, 16 in the Middle East as well as a number of destinations across our extensive network in Africa and the Americas.”

The 777-300ER service will offer 20 tonnes of capacity and will compliment the Ho Chi Minh City and existing Hanoi cargo services.
