Embraer to promote innovation and process efficiency

On 13th September, Embraer will bring together ten startups from all over Brazil to discuss innovation and ways to increase process efficiency in various sectors of the company.

The initiative, which is part of a series of events planned during September to commemorate Innovation Month, seeks to foster the innovation ecosystem and connect employees, startups, and leaders around the world.

“Innovating has been part of Embraer’s culture since it was created. To further foster the entire innovation ecosystem, there needs to be an intense exchange of knowledge and connections to evolve at a fast pace, in a sustainable way, increasing competitiveness today and in the future,” said Dimas Tomelin, Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer at Embraer.

Over the course of four weeks, several activities will be carried out, such as the Global Innovation Day, an online podcast event intended to encourage people to think about technologies for the future; the Embraer Startup Marathon, a face-to-face program that will connect startups to develop solutions to enhance process efficiency in the Procurement area; the Innovation Day United States and EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Asia), which will foster discussions and promote innovation among employees in these regions; SETI, Embraer’s Technology and Innovation Seminar; and HackaEMB, a face-to-face event to promote learning, social impact, a culture of collaboration, innovation and agility for Embraer.

In addition, a ceremony on October 7 will take place at Embraer’s headquarters in São José dos Campos to recognize the people and areas that excelled in their initiatives, reinforcing Embraer’s commitment to leading the future of innovation in the aerospace industry.
