Embraer to host aircraft Finance Summit in Tokyo

Embraer (NYSE: ERJ/B3: EMBR3) will host an Embraer Aircraft Finance Summit in Tokyo on April 8, 2025, offering financiers an opportunity to learn about Embraer’s aircraft portfolio and its growing adoption by top-tier airlines globally.

The Tokyo summit marks Embraer’s first in the Asia Pacific region, building on the success of the previous edition in New York in 2024. This underscores Embraer’s commitment to engaging with the global financial community and highlighting the potential of its aircraft portfolio, particularly the E2 family, within the growing Asia Pacific market.

Commenting on the Summit, Antonio Carlos Garcia, Chief Financial Officer said, “The Japan edition of the Embraer Aviation Finance Summit will foster a deeper understanding of the potential of the E-Jets and contribute to a more supportive financing landscape, benefiting the wider aviation economy in Japan and Asia Pacific.”

Arjan Meijer, President & CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation said, “This event is an extension of our long engagement with the community. It will further demonstrate the capabilities of our platform, the significant market opportunity it represents, and the positive impact it’s already having on our airline partners.”

Embraer Commercial Aviation and its airline customers have benefited from the Japanese aviation finance ecosystem for decades. The Embraer E2 Family is gaining significant traction, with airlines such as KLM, Scoot, LOT and Virgin already embracing the platform for its operational efficiency and market appeal. Embraer’s Investment Grade (IG) rating from S&P, Fitch, and Moody’s further underscores its financial strength.

The summit invites key stakeholders – banks, leasing companies and other members of the finance community – interested in airline financing to learn more about this momentum. Attendees will hear market presentations from Embraer executives, as well as insights from lessors, airlines, and other industry leaders, covering airline strategies and experiences in financing E-Jets.
