EFL appoints Senthilnathan as CEO, Larsen takes over as COO

EFL has promoted S Senthilnathan to the role of chief executive officer (CEO) while Peter Larsen has taken over as chief operating officer (COO).

Senthilnathan has worked at Expo Group since 1996 and helped establish EFL’s Indian operation, helping make it one of the biggest forwarders in India, and was appointed COO in 2012. Larsen, a Danish national, has joined from DSV where he was the regional director for the Middle East, Sub Continent and Africa, and was credited with helping revive operations in South Africa and the United Arab Emirates.

Commenting on his appointment, Larsen thanked EFL founder and president, Hanif Yusoof, who is also Group CEO of Expolanka.

Larsen says: “The global logistics industry increasingly has to play a balancing act, keeping on top of changing customer trends while still maintaining service quality and standards.”

“Hanif and his team have aggressively expanded the company’s reach globally and I look forward to leveraging this to strengthen EFL’s reputation as a leading supply chain solutions provider.”
