DuPont to partner with Cold Chain Technologies for Tyvek Cargo Covers

DuPont, makers of Tyvek, has entered into an exclusive agreement with Cold Chain Technologies, LLC (CCT) for the global production, sales, distribution, and technical service of Tyvek Cargo Covers for the life sciences.

Effective July 15, 2020, CCT will assume responsibility for pre- and post-sales customer questions and support related to DuPont Tyvek Cargo Covers. Prior to July 15, customers will continue to work directly with DuPont for new and existing orders.

The new partnership will provide customers with the same high quality and reliable performance they have come to expect of DuPont Tyvek Cargo Covers, now with improved customer and technical services tailored specifically to the manufacturers and distributors of temperature-sensitive, life-science products. The respective core technologies of both companies are highly complementary, and customers can expect to benefit from future innovations arising from this collaboration.

“DuPont is highly committed to seeing the healthcare industry thrive, and this partnership with CCT reflects our focus on improving customer service and product innovation for the cold chain industry,” said John Richard, vice president and general manager, DuPont Safety.

“CCT is excited about the untapped market potential and new product opportunities this partnership will create. This relationship will open the doors for us to gain access to the best materials and technologies in the marketplace which will ultimately help us better serve our customers,” said Robert D. Bohne, president, Cold Chain Technologies.
