dnata has joined forces with Wallenborn Transports in the Middle East through the acquisition of a Dubai-based premium road feeder service provider.

Wallenborn has completed the acquisition of Agility Global Logistics’ interest in dnata PWC Airport Logistics (DPAL), and will now embark on a partnership with dnata through DPAL.

The parties, who have agreed not to disclose the details of the transaction, will see the companies develop new products and services, and enter new markets.

Bernd Leo Struck, senior vice president UAE cargo and DWC airline services at dnata, and chairman of dnata PWC Airport Logistics says: “We are driven to provide superior services to the regional market. Joining forces with Wallenborn, a leading air-cargo road feeder services operator, helps us enhance our position in this segment and exploit business opportunities both in the UAE and internationally.”

Frantz Wallenborn, president and CEO of Wallenborn Transports says: “This new venture supports my long-term vision to enhance RFS in the GCC region and make supply chains more effective and efficient. We will extend the range and quality of RFS services from, to and within the UAE and invest in digitalisation and environmental initiatives that will create dynamic and sustainable opportunities for our customers.”
