dnata has been certified by IATA Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics at its Dallas Fort Worth facility.

The 37,000 square foot cargo centre at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport opened in November 2017.

It includes a 14,000 square foot perishable handling facility, which is dedicated to cool chain products with experienced staff to ensure products including pharmaceuticals, fruit, vegetables, fish and seafood, meat and flowers to maintain freshness during the air cargo process.

David Barker, CEO of dnata USA says: “This achievement demonstrates our commitment to meeting the highest industry standards and further strengthens our position as a global leader in perishable cargo handling.  We continue to invest in infrastructure and technology to deliver safe, quality and innovative services for our customers.”

dnata started ground handling and cargo operations in the US in 2016, and has invested more than $45 million in facilities, equipment, training and technology, while expanding operations in the country.
