Dimerco Express Group celebrated 45 years in business earlier this month with a number of appointments it says are aimed at securing the continued expansion of the company’s global network.
The freight forwarder says it comes after a strong performance in 2016 when sales revenues increased up by 6.6 per cent comparing to previous year.
Announced at the group’s annual management meeting, on 10 February, changes to the management line up were focused on consolidating the HQ’s team and relocating key staff to develop opportunities in buoyant regions like North America and Europe – where business was up by 28.5 per cent and 29.2 per cent respectively on the previous year.
Paul Lee has been named as chief commercial officer while Joey Chou has been appointed corporate vice president for business development, and Andy Hsu has been named announced as president for Greater China.
After heading up Europe, Brandon Wang is now general manager for the east coast of North America, Eddie Lin is taking over as regional director for Europe and Kelvin Lin is expanding his logistics responsibilities as general manager for North East Asia.
Founder and chairman, Paul Chien says: “Our philosophy is, and continues to be, to grow the business together with our strategic partners, and to share the prosperity with all our productive employees and partner agents. We are rightly proud of our achievements to date, will continue to focus on growth and look forward to another prosperous year ahead.”
