Freight forwarder Dimerco has opened a new office in Hyderabad, India.

The company says this will support one of Dimerco’s major customers, a mobile handset company who will be establishing a new production facility in Hyderabad.

The office it explains will also strengthen Dimerco’s customs brokerage service, according to Dimerco’s India country manager, Mraveen Dadala.

He says: “Once our customer’s factory is operational in Hyderabad, we anticipate cementing our relationship further by meeting increased service requirements with our usual operational efficiency.

“We will also be focusing on attracting new business in Hyderabad, particularly in the electronic and pharmaceutical sectors, where we see enormous potential.”

Dimerco reported a 4.4 per cent year-to-date increase in sales revenue compared to the same period last year, along with a 46 per cent rise in net income.
