DHL eCommerce helps Singapore e-tailers connect with US market

DHL eCommerce has launched Parcel International Direct US to help Singapore-based e-tailers, online merchants, manufacturers and traditional retailers ship products weighing up to 6.5 kilogrammes to consumers in the US.

It says the product is a simple and cost-effective shipping option with end-to-end tracking and transit times of 4-6 business days.

The DHL eCommerce Web Portal enables e-tailers to integrate orders into the DHL network by preparing orders for shipping individually or in bulk, track and generate reports from a single.

DHL eCommerce Singapore managing director, Sham Alexandra says: “DHL eCommerce aims to provide best-in-class e-commerce logistics for both merchants and end consumers through high quality, cost-efficient logistics solutions as well as a positive delivery experience. We want to enable local businesses to reach their international consumers with ease and allow them to fully leverage the massive potential that e-commerce brings.”

Cross-border e-commerce is projected to grow 25 per cent annually between 2015 and 2020, bring the value of the market from $300 billion in 2015 to $900 billion in 2020.
