cargo.one has entered into a global partnership with Dachser, allowing airfreight customers to search for, compare and book capacity across airlines with immediate confirmation.
After a successful trial period, Dachser decided to use cargo.one as its digital booking platform for airfreight capacity in the spot market, with the booking platform being made available to Dachser employees working in airfreight export with immediate effect.
cargo.one puts global routing options on a user-friendly interface from airline partners including Lufthansa Cargo, providing live spot rates and guaranteed access to capacity and enabling Dachser to make airfreight bookings in a matter of seconds.
It simplifies and replaces and replaces the time-consuming email and telephone booking process.
Dachser global head of airfreight, Timo Stroh says: “Some solutions promise digital bookability, but then, usually with no access to capacity. cargo.one offers us, in any market situation, fast and secure access to capacity based on live rates.”
cargo.one founder and managing director, Oliver Neumann says: “We are happy that the cargo.one platform convinced Dachser, one of the leading global logistics providers, of its many advantages. cargo.one is easily usable by freight forwarders without complicated integration, while enabling rapid digitalisation, and thus securing the business of the future.”
