Cooper joins AMI

Air Menzies International (AMI) has named Adam Cooper as its new head of sales for the Americas region.

Cooper joins AMI from United Airlines where his career spanned 15 years in both sales and operations roles for United Airlines at their Chicago HQ and in the US West Region.

Most recently he held the position of Senior Manager Cargo Sales Strategy, where he was responsible for supporting and developing the Cargo Division Strategy and managing the Cargo Division Revenue Plan.

He joins AMI at an exciting time as they look to capitalise on significant investments made in the Americas region, including the recent development of their new LAX facility and the opening of a new Seattle Office to cover the North West Americas area.

“Adam joins AMI at a perfect time as we look to grow our Americas business in 2021 and beyond,” commented Tibor Fodelmesi, AMI for the VP Americas.

“He brings with him notable experience from United Airlines, and in particular developing and executing a comprehensive Sales Strategy. This will be key to achieving growth across all our branches and ensuring we build on our North American network which spans from New York and Miami on the East Coast to Los Angeles and across into Canada with our Vancouver branch.”

Cooper added: “I am excited to join the AMI team at this important time for AMI and our industry. I look forward to growing AMI as a preferred partner for our customers in the Americas
