It has been announced that the Brussels Airport cargo community has won two World Air Cargo Awards.

Following the votes, Brussels Airport was elected Airport of the Year 2020, for the 5th time in 10 years, an unprecedented performance. Air Cargo Belgium, the association representing the freight community at Brussels Airport, also won the Air Cargo Industry Achievement Award 2020.

‘It is great that the industry is once again rewarding the efforts we have been making over the years to further develop the freight service and the freight community at Brussels Airport,” commented Steven Polmans, Director Cargo & Logistics. “We cannot repeat enough that this result is the result of the efforts, large and small, of many people inside and outside our company. The recognition that we are getting from the freight industry is fantastic. Sincere encouragement for freight colleagues, but also for the entire airport community at this difficult time!”
