Christopher Licht to join Celebi Cargo Frankfurt

Christopher Licht will take up the role of chief operating officer of Celebi Cargo Frankfurt, starting on 16 October.

He entered aviation in 2006 by working at Avia Partner as a cargo handling agent in Frankfurt, before switching to airline administration.

Licht worked at several roles of major airlines including six years at Qatar Airways between 2012 and 2018 as operational head for central and eastern Europe.

In the role, he was responsible for management of safety, security and operational compliance in the region covering more than 30 stations.

Licht joins from Kuehne + Nagel where he was regional gateway handling manager for Europe.

His main responsibilities will be to ensure operational performance and quality optimisation, ground handling agent selection process and sustainability of contractual terms.
