Chapman promotes Puchalski in Poland

Chapman Freeborn Airchartering has promoted Radoslaw Puchalski to the position of head of its business in Poland.

Puchalski has held the role of charter sales manager at Chapman Freeborn since 2012 and will oversee the strategic growth of the company’s aircraft chartering and on-board courier services in Poland, as well as the expansion of activities in Eastern Europe and the Baltic states.

He has a strong background in the air cargo sector, as well as previous experience working for Poland’s Civil Aviation Authority.

Chapman Freeborn’s Warsaw office opened in 1993 and last year the company furthered its investment in Poland with the launch of a new hub in Katowice to meet increased demand for its specialist services.

Chapman Freeborn chief executive officer, Russi Batliwala says: “Radek has built up a strong reputation in the charter industry and we’re delighted to be handing him the reins. He has already proved himself capable of driving growth and I am confident he will build on the excellent performance of our Polish team.”

Puchalski adds: “I’m excited about the opportunity to continue Chapman Freeborn’s development in this region. We have had an established business in the country for over 20 years but I still see opportunities to reach new clients and expand our activities.”
