“This partnership allows Chapman Freeborn to enhance its market presence in Portugal and capitalise on the exciting economic opportunities in the region,” said Héctor Romero, General Manager Iberia, Chapman Freeborn.

“With over fifty years of experience, Chapman Freeborn has a well-earned reputation as a trusted air charterer, and I look forward to working strategically with Santos e Vale as we look to expand our joint service offerings across Iberia.”

Freight forwarders can now ship consignments between 1200 kilograms and 120 tonnes under the terms of the new agreement.

“Our new partnership with Chapman Freeborn represents an important milestone in the expansion of our air cargo service offerings, positioning Santos e Vale as a new global operator in Portugal,” said Joaquim Vale, Chief Executive Officer, Santos e Vale Group.

“This collaboration allows us to integrate into a global network of services, offering new logistical solutions where time makes all the difference.”

Following the agreement, Santos e Vale will also now offer group passenger charters for the first time, capitalising on its work as the supplier of Primeira Liga football clubs in Portugal.
