CHAMP kits out Cathay Pacific with its Cargospot suite

CHAMP Cargosystems has successfully implemented its Cargospot suite for Cathay Pacific’s worldwide cargo operations.

The software has been customised for Cathay Pacific and has been further enhanced with CHAMP’s Business Intelligence tools. The two companies are now working on replacing the airline’s cargo revenue accounting systems with Cargospot Revenue, and a new air mail solution will be implemented in 2017.

They will also work together create a Cargo Innovative Development Centre to “push the boundaries by introducing new IT concepts and designs, cost savings and efficiencies”.

CHAMP Cargosystems chief executive officer, Arnaud Lambert says: “Cargospot will continue to evolve with the direct involvement of Cathay Pacific. I am very excited at the prospect of working closely with the airline, and further developing our relationship over the next ten years.”

Cathay Pacific cargo director, Simon Large adds: “The team has successfully implemented a solution which will benefit Cathay Pacific’s worldwide cargo business both in the short and long term.  CHAMP’s technology and ongoing support will keep us at the forefront of an ever-changing air cargo industry.”
