CEVA Logistics opens Brazil headquarters

CEVA Logistics has opened a new headquarters for South America in Sao Paulo (Brazil) and launched a fourth Centre of Logistics Excellence – joining Jacksonville (US), Singapore and Ashby de la Zouch (UK).

The new headquarters are located in the Thera Corporate office complex in the Vila Olimpia region of São Paulo, and CEVA says it brings together operational and back-office functions under one roof.

The Centre of Logistics Excellence, CEVA’s first in South America, is a dedicated area of the building where prospective and current customers are able to experience first-hand the tools and methodologies CEVA applies in order to optimise supply chains and create a competitive advantage.

CEVA’s executive vice president of South America, Richard Vieites says: This is an important strategic step for CEVA in the region as we consolidate our presence and prepare for continued growth.

“Being able to fully integrate all back office and operational functions enables us to continue supporting the needs of all our customers.”

Vieites continues: “The centre allows us to demonstrate ‘real world’ logistics innovation through supply chain optimization and enhanced visibility, integrated services and technology solutions to power supply chain efficiency.”

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior executives at CEVA including chief executive officer, Xavier Urban, as well as local and regional executives from CEVA’s South American cluster.
