CEVA Logistics, a world leader in third-party logistics, announced today that it has been positioned by Gartner in the Leaders quadrant of the 2021 Magic Quadrant Third-Party logistics, Worldwide report. This marks the first time for the company to be recognised as a “Leader” after eight years in the Challenger quadrant.
Gartner Magic Quadrant evaluates global third-party logistics providers on their “completeness of vision and ability to execute,” positioning them in one of four quadrants: Leaders, Visionaries, Challengers or Niche Players. According to Gartner, Leaders execute well against their current vision and are well positioned for tomorrow.
CEVA Logistics is one of the 17 international companies recognized in this report by Gartner. CEVA is one of the seven companies positioned in the Leaders quadrant.
According to Gartner: “Leaders rate well on the highly weighted criteria for both Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. This means the leading providers have extensive service offerings and infrastructure and make them available across an expansive global footprint. They understand the market, trends and customer needs, and translate those into well-executed service offerings further specialized for any number of industries.
“They are formidable at logistics execution across the service lines and run highly professional, very comprehensive logistics businesses. Leaders also have well-structured strategies and business models to continue to expand their capabilities, regional coverage and industry specialization, and they are adept at offering services for different customer segments. They invest in innovative mechanisms and capabilities to advance the art of logistics in the industry. Leaders are trusted and relied on by many of the largest global corporations to help them execute their worldwide supply chains.”
Says Mathieu Friedberg, chief executive officer, CEVA Logistics: “We have a very aggressive growth plan based on where we see the industry going, and we aim to be in the Top 5 players in the logistics industry. We still have a long way to go in reaching both our goals and our fullest potential, but we consider being named a ‘leader’ in the Gartner 2021 Magic Quadrant as confirmation for the hard work that our experienced team has already accomplished for our customers. We have come a long way in a short amount of time, and I want to thank all of our more than 78,000 employees and our growing list of customers for their trust in allowing us to deliver responsive logistics solutions for their supply chain needs.”
Says Guillaume Col, chief operating officer, CEVA Logistics: “Over the past several years, CEVA Logistics has successfully expanded our presence in growing markets, notably through our strategic acquisitions in Africa, and in addition, we have streamlined many internal operational, technology and product development processes. We believe these factors have strongly contributed to our growing success and leadership in the market, and in our eyes, this ‘leader’ position is a confirmation of the plans we are diligently implementing in order to better serve our customers.”
