Cebu Pacific and SmartKargo continue digital transformation

Cebu Pacific Cargo has renewed its contract with QuantumID Technologies for cloud-based real-time management using SmartKargo.

The Filipino carrier has utilised the Software as a Service to give customers real-time shipment information and advanced tools such as mobile apps.

The mobile app allows customers to manage shipments end-to-end, from booking to destination.

SmartKargo has helped Cebu manage and integrate new dedicated cargo capacity into its fleet.

Alex Reyes, vice president for commercial of Cebu Pacific says: “The SmartKargo Cloud solution has equipped CEB Cargo with the advanced digital tools to run our business. We are very pleased to continue the partnership, and look forward to sustained growth that SmartKargo has enabled.”

Enhanced capabilities allow Cebu to provide electronic air waybills, and make booking easier with single-screen data entries.

The service provides simplified pricing and rate-making capabilities, real-time capacity management, user-configurable business intelligence and integrated cargo revenue accounting.

Jay Shelat, executive vice president of QuantumID Technologies says: “We at SmartKargo look forward to continue providing CEB Cargo with solutions and tools to grow their business. We are happy and grateful to be working with an outstanding team of cargo professionals and excellent leadership.”
