Cathay Cargo delivered two giant pandas to their new home in Hong Kong. The arrival of these national treasures was marked by a warm welcome at Hong Kong International Airport.

The pandas, a symbol of China’s natural heritage, were carefully transported under Cathay Cargo’s expert care, ensuring a comfortable and safe journey. Upon arrival, the pandas underwent thorough health checks administered by Ocean Park Hong Kong in collaboration with the Agriculture, Fisheries, and Conservation Department. These checks ensure that the pandas are well-adjusted to their new surroundings and remain in excellent health.

“We’re proud to have delivered these national treasures to our home city. At Hong Kong International Airport, distinguished guests and media friends have joined us at their welcome ceremony,” wrote Cathay Cargo in a LinkedIn post.

The dynamic duo is expected to bring immense joy to the residents of Hong Kong, who are eagerly awaiting their public debut. Ocean Park is already preparing to introduce the pandas to the public, where they will no doubt become the stars of the city.
