Cargolux International Airlines is to increase Brazilian services with flights to Rio de Janeiro from 4 March to cater for pre-Olympic Games demand.
Flight CV7645 will leave Luxembourg on Fridays at 12.00h and arrive in Rio de Janeiro at 23.30h. The flight will continue to Viracopos before returning as flight CV7656, arriving in Luxembourg on Saturday at 15.30h. All times are in GMT.
The Rio service is to cater for growing demand in the run up to the Olympic Games, which take place from 5 to 21 August. Cargolux is also expecting to carry car parts and spares, chemicals, electrical goods, consolidated freight and household goods.
In addition to Viracopos, Sao Paulo and the upcoming Rio services, Cargolux also serves the Brazilian cities of Manaus, Petrolina and Curitiba.
