Cargolux adds third weekly flight to Xiamen

Cargolux Airlines International added a third weekly flight to Xiamen, China on 1 July to meet growing customer demand.

The new service CV9721 operates on Mondays, leaving Luxembourg at 08.10h and arriving in Xiamen on Tuesday at 04.40h.

The return flight, CV9731 leaves Xiamen at 06.15h and heads to Los Angeles, USA before landing in Luxembourg at 06.15h local time.

Cargolux has been flying to Xiamen since 2006 with two weekly flights from Luxembourg on Wednesdays and Fridays.

The additional China – USA service strengthens Cargolux’s position on transpacific lanes, providing the only direct freighter connection between Xiamen and the USA.

The main imports from Europe into Xiamen comprises of classic cargo as well as spare parts and semiconductor components.

The service from Xiamen to Los Angeles will mainly support the export of clothing items and electronic goods.
