Cargologic Germany granted Air Operator Certificate

Cargologic Germany has received its Air Operator Certificate from the German civil aviation authority, the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt, and is ready for commercial operations.

The airline, based at Leipzig-Halle Airport will focus on providing short-term capacity to customers across Europe and aims to offer express air cargo services to integrators and e-commerce providers.

Cargologic says it has generated considerable commercial interest since receiving its non-commercial permit in June 2019.

It operates two Boeing 737-400SFs and plans to increase its fleet to 10 737s by 2022.
