BOC Aviation orders 30 Airbus A320s

Aircraft leasing company, BOC Aviation has ordered an additional 30 Airbus A320s, bringing its total Airbus orders to 306.

The order by the Singapore based company, owned by Bank of China, is for 18 A320neos and 12 A320ceos. BOC Aviation has 12 Airbus A330s and 294 A320s on order, including 64neos.

BOC Aviation managing director and chief executive officer, Robert Martin says: “This order underscores our continued confidence in the reliability and operational efficiency of the A320 family aircraft, and reflects its popularity among our customers for short and medium haul routes.”

Airbus chief operating officer for customers, John Leahy says: “Its latest order not only demonstrates its continued confidence in our product for its airline customers but recognises the A320 as a sound financial asset in its portfolio.”

“We appreciate the mutually beneficial and strong relationship we have built with BOC Aviation over the past 20 years.”
