Avion Express Welcomes New Head of Communications

Avion Express, the globally leading narrow-body ACMI ((Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) and charter airline, has announced the appointment of Rolanda Lipneviciute as the Head of Communications. In her role, Rolanda will be responsible for managing the company’s internal communication and public relations.

With its airlines in Lithuania and Malta, Avion Express has experienced significant growth in recent years. With a diverse team of approximately 1,800 professionals representing over 60 different nationalities and a fleet of 54 aircraft serving commercial ACMI and charter routes across five continents, Avion Express continues to expand its fleet and destinations’ network and actively recruits new team members.

As the business expands, Darius Kajokas, CEO of Avion Express, highlights the growing significance of employer branding, the brand image in various regions, and internal communication.

“Our diverse and dedicated team, coupled with our global operations, has prompted us to reevaluate our communications strategy. By separating marketing and communication functions, we aim to strengthen our internal communications and intensify our efforts to enhance global awareness of the Avion Express brand as a professional ACMI company that offers great opportunities for our team members”, – says company CEO Darius Kajokas.

Rolanda Lipneviciute brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having previously served as the Head of Communications for a prominent pharmacy chain. Before that, she was responsible for communications at the largest insurance company in Lithuania.

Avion Express is part of Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI provider (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance), operating a fleet of more than 192 aircraft.
