ASR Cargo Center expands operations to Copenhagen Airport

ASR Cargo Center expands operations to Copenhagen Airport

  • ASR Cargo Center, an air cargo logistics company headquartered in Vantaa, Finland, has announced the launch of new operations at Copenhagen Airport (CPH), scheduled to commence on April 1st, 2026.
  • The expansion strengthens the company’s presence across Northern Europe and enhances its ability to serve airlines, freight forwarders, and e-commerce operators with high-quality and flexible air cargo services.
“Our new operation in Copenhagen is a strategic step forward that allows us to better support our customers with efficient, adaptable, and reliable logistics solutions across the region,” said Samuli Naskali, CEO of ASR Cargo Center. “We see that Copenhagen needs competition to keep up with the demand that the airport together with carriers have built. Copenhagen will play a central role in our Nordic network, with strong focus areas in pharmaceutical logistics, e-commerce handling, and time-critical air freight.”
The Copenhagen facility will feature dedicated pharmaceutical handling capabilities, including temperature-controlled storage areas, validated cold-chain infrastructure, and strict quality control processes to ensure compliance with international GDP (Good Distribution Practice) standards. ASR Cargo Center’s pharmaceutical logistics operations will support both import and export flows, covering temperature ranges from +2°C to +8°C and +15°C to +25°C, along with real-time monitoring to maintain product integrity from aircraft to consignee. The company’s specialized team is trained in handling temperature-sensitive and high-value pharma products, providing secure, traceable, and compliant service from start to finish.
In addition to pharma handling, the Copenhagen operation will provide comprehensive import and export handling, customs coordination, and value-added logistics services, following the same operational standards as ASR Cargo Center’s hub at Helsinki Airport. The expansion reinforces the company’s commitment to quality, flexibility, security, and sustainability in the air cargo sector.
The new Copenhagen operation is expected to strengthen ASR Cargo Center’s partnerships with key carriers and logistics providers operating in the Nordic and European markets.
