Antonov has landed the AN-225 Mriya in Berlin with its Ukrainian owner announcing that it is ready to provide additional support to the Strategic Airlift International Solution (SALIS) programme.
The AN-225, which has a 250 tonne payload, is taking part in the Berlin Innovation and Leadership in Aerospace Air Show.
Antonov is providing the SALIS programme with AN-124-100s for strategic air transportation in the interest of NATO and European Union nations.
It has seven AN-124-100s, two of which have an increased payload capacity of 150 tonnes.
The fleet is undergoing a modernisation programme to continue to fly outsized and emergency cargo globally.
The AN-225 will be at the ILA Berlin Air Show 2018 until Sunday 29 April.
