The cargo, destined for a desalination facility, is part of Algeria’s major government initiative to enhance its desalination infrastructure.

Both flights carried over 60 crates of specialized equipment, which were handled with precision and care. Antonov’s flight and technical crews utilised the aircraft’s internal cranes to ensure efficient loading and unloading, guaranteeing the safe and timely delivery of the vital machinery.

“It was a great pleasure to work with DSV Air & Sea Limited on this flight. Antonov flight and technical crew did a great job to ensure quick and efficient loading of over 60 crates on each flight using aircraft internal cranes,” said Iryna Kyianytsia, Commercial Executive of Antonov Airlines.

This collaboration highlights Antonov Airlines’ ability to manage complex logistics operations seamlessly, leveraging its expertise in oversized and heavy cargo transport. By coordinating closely with DSV, both teams ensured a smooth operation that met the tight demands of this critical infrastructure project.
