Andy Fitt takes over as Yusen Logistics UK managing director

After three years of services at Yusen Logistics UK, Andy Fitt has been promoted to the role of managing director, succeeding Kevin Appleton.

Fitt has held the roles of business unit director and most recently deputy managing director, and will take over from Appleton who is now chairman of Yusen Logistics UK.

Fitt brings experience and expertise to the role having previously held positions at CEVA, Norbert Dentressangle UK and TNT Logistics.

Commenting on his new role, Fitt says: “I am excited to take on this responsibility to continue driving YLUK forwards. The UK is a highly competitive and challenging market, with strategic importance for customers in all of our core vertical markets.

“I look forward to further enhancing our performance and delivering on our M&A strategy; whilst ensuring business continuity through future challenges. As always, we will place customers at the heart of our business.”
