And the winner is … Rock-It Cargo

Rock-it Cargo, a global provider of logistics services to live event shippers, has been honoured with the 2019 Parnelli Freight Forwarder of the Year Award.

Rock-it non-executive chairman and outgoing CEO David Charles Bernstein was at the 19th Parnelli Awards Gala in Anaheim, California on Friday, January 17 to receive the award from host John Waite: “It is indeed a great honour to accept this award on behalf of the Rock-it family. It was our privilege to work with Rick O’Brien, also known as Parnelli, who exemplified what we strive to be: a best in class, have fun, get it done, no matter what, cast of characters.”

Bernstein continued: “Many thanks again to all of the professionals who have, and continue to rely on Rock-it, 24/7, 365 for 42 years and counting.”

Parnelli Award winners are nominated and voted for by subscribers to Projection, Lights & Staging News and Front of House magazines, overseen by a board of advisors.

Over 750 people attended the awards ceremony which aims to shine a light on backstage companies and crew members in 22 categories allowing one night a year when the microphone is on for those individuals who spend their careers behind the scenes.

Rock-it Cargo was up against six nominated companies in the Freight Forwarding Category.
