All flights at Edinburgh Airport have been grounded due to an ongoing IT issue affecting air traffic control. The issue, which is believed to only be affecting Edinburgh Airport, has seen all flights at Scotland’s busiest airport grounded this morning (December 5).
Passengers have been advised to contact their airline for the latest update but many who are at the airport are facing long waits.

A spokesperson for Edinburgh Airport said: “Due to an IT issue with our air traffic control provider, no flights are currently operating from Edinburgh Airport.

“Teams are working on the issue and will resolve as soon as possible. We will provide updates when possible – please contact your airline for the latest information on your flight.”
