AIT Worldwide opens Mexico City airport office

AIT Worldwide Logistics has extended its network in Mexico with an office based at Mexico City International Airport.

The Mexico City office will provide an array of logistics products including transborder expertise, warehousing, customs brokerage and IMMEX services with a focus on airfreight, particularly in the automotive, food logistics, technology and life science sectors.

It is the fifth station in Mexico along with offices in Guadalajara, Hermosillo, Monterrey and Tijuana.

Vaughn Moore, president and CEO at AIT says that Mexico City is a major hub and will play a significant role in broadening the company’s scope of services between Mexico and the USA, and Asia and Europe.

He says: “We’ve been looking forward to adding Mexico City to our network. It’s a mecca for major business, with tremendous client diversity, access to our current customers and government agencies, and a location central to growers in the southern part of the country.”
