AIA Cargo appoints new Vice President Cargo UK

AIA Cargo welcomes Colin D. McInnes as the new Vice President of Cargo UK, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the team.

Colin D. McInnes joins AIA Cargo as the Vice President of Cargo UK, bringing him a strong background and extensive experience in the cargo industry. He has spent the last 18 years working for Swiss WorldCargo, the cargo division of Swiss International Airlines Ltd.

He spent ten years in London as Regional Manager of the UK, Ireland, and Nordics, then took an international assignment based in Chicago, responsible for the Chicago and Midwest USA. After his international assignment, he moved to the Swiss headquarters in Zurich, where he headed global key account management.

After his time at Swiss World Cargo, Colin was Head of Sales and Account Management – EMEA at CHAMP Cargo Systems before taking up the role at AIA Cargo.

I’m looking forward to getting started in the role of Vice President Cargo UK and using my experience to add great value to the UK team, said Colin D. McInnes.

Colin D. McInnes recognises the importance of collaboration with industry partners to drive the success of AIA Cargo’s cargo operations in the UK. He aims to establish and maintain strong relationships with airlines, freight forwarders, and logistics providers, fostering collaboration and driving mutual growth.

By working closely with industry partners, Colin intends to identify and capitalise on joint business opportunities, develop innovative solutions and services, and enhance the overall customer experience. Through collaboration, AIA Cargo can leverage the expertise and resources of its partners to deliver efficient and reliable cargo solutions to customers in the UK market.
Colin’s experience and network within the industry will enable him to build fruitful partnerships and establish AIA Cargo as a trusted and preferred partner in the UK cargo market.
