AGI opens new ORD import centre

Alliance Ground International (AGI) has opened up a new 25,300 sq m warehouse operation at Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

The new AGI-West Import Facility is located at 1717 Busse Road in Elk Grove village on the
western boundary of the Chicago Airport and is along major roads that will allow easy
access to the facility. This new facility will serve many of the multiple airlines handled by AGI in Chicago. The facility has 57 dock doors and 34 trailer parking positions and is in close proximity to the forwarder community and therefore will improve pickup experience in the way of distance and avoiding congested airport roadways.

In addition to this facility, AGI operates at four locations at ORD with over 65,000 sq m of
warehouse space and 1200 employees serving over 20 domestic and international airlines.

“We are excited that AGI is growing and able to provide this new import facility to serve our airline partners and the positive impact it will have on the forwarder community in the vibrant and growing Chicago market. The large scale of this import centre provides for
transformative relief to the thriving air cargo market at O’Hare,” says Jared Azcuy, chief
operating officer of Alliance Ground International.
