AEI to provide Royal Aero with Boeing 737-400SF

Aeronautical Engineers has signed a contract with Royal Aero to provide the Miesbach, Germany-based airline with its first Boeing 737-400SF.

The aircraft, MSN 29204 will be modified at Commercial Jet’s Dothan, Alabama facility and be delivered to Royal Aero in May 2019.

The AEI 737-400SF is the only passenger to freighter conversion product offering operators 10 full height 88”x125” container positions due to the Main Deck Cargo Door being located 40” further back than the competition.

The 737-400SF will provide Royal Aero with an Ancra CLS capable of carrying multiple ULDs including 10 88”x125” ULDs in P1 to 10 or eight 96”x125” in P1 to P10 and one 53”x88”64” pallet or AEP/AEH or 60.4”x61.5” AKE/LD3 or 61.5”x88”56” AYY in P11.
