Accelya and Mercator to operate under the Accelya brand name

Accelya and Mercator have chosen their new name and will operate under the Accelya identity following the two companies combining in March 2017.

Accelya provides financial and commercial solutions to the airline industry and Mercator product enabled solutions to the travel and transport industry.

The combined company, Accelya, has broadened its product portfolio to include financial, commercial, cargo and analytics solutions, and it harnesses the power of technology, data and industry expertise.

Accelya has more than 400 clients worldwide, including 350 airlines, the company provides the mission critical solutions that account for and manage more than five billion financial transactions and 75 million tonnes of cargo annually along with more than one billion shipping rates across 100 countries.

It employs 2,800 people in over 20 countries.

The new identity will be made public at the International Air Transport Association World Financial Symposium on 25 September in Dublin, where Accelya is the principal sponsor.
