AAT welcomes Indonesia AirAsia and Thai Lion Air’s inaugural flights to Hong Kong

Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT), a subsidiary of SATS Ltd, is honoured to announce its partnership with Thai Lion Air and Indonesia AirAsia as their preferred cargo handler for the newly introduced daily flights connecting Bali and Bangkok to Hong Kong.

Indonesia AirAsia, based in Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, marked the successful launch of its inaugural flight from Bali to Hong Kong on 1 Oct 2024.

While on the same day, Thai Lion Air, operating from Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok, also commenced its inaugural service on the Bangkok-Hong Kong route.

AAT’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Mike Chew said “We warmly welcome Indonesia AirAsia and Thai Lion Air to join the AAT family. The addition of these new routes not only strengthens our regional connectivity but also enhances the trade and tourism ties between Hong Kong and the bustling cities of Bali and Bangkok. With our unwavering focus on operational and service excellence, we are committed to contributing to the business growth of the airlines in Hong Kong.
