AA launches third daily Quito flight

On June 3, flight AA 946 departed from Quito International Airport headed to Miami, becoming American Airline’s third daily frequency from Ecuador’s capital city airport to the United States.

This third daily American Airlines flight represents a growth of 48.1% in seats compared to 2019, making visible the gradual, yet sustained recovery of air traffic in Quito, the country and the region.

The new flight, which will depart from Quito every morning at 01:30 AM and will arrive in Miami at 06:50 AM, will be operated on board a Boeing 737 MAX, with capacity for 172 passengers, and will leave Miami every day at 9:29 PM, arriving at the Quito International Airport at 12:30 AM.
