Air cargo charter specialist Chapman Freeborn has appointed Tyler Porteous as its new vice president of cargo for Canada, strengthening its senior management team in the region. Porteous joined the company last month after spending nearly 14 years at Canadian cargo airline Cargojet. Most recently, he served as senior director of global charter sales.

He began his career at Cargojet in 2012 as a sales and service representative, before progressing to sales manager. He later held senior roles, including director of charter sales and business development, and senior director of global charter sales.
Chapman Freeborn said Mr Porteous brings extensive experience in air cargo charters and commercial leadership. He is also a qualified private pilot, having trained in Ontario.
