Miami International Airport has welcomed Canadian airline, KF Cargo, launching charter services into South America.
The first flight by the subsidiary company of KF Aerospace was bringing in thousands of flowers for Mother’s Day. KF Aerospace, headquartered in Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, employs 1,000 people and provides air cargo operations, aircraft leasing, heavy maintenance and modifications, and pilot training.
Miami-Dade aviation director, Emilio Gonzalez says: “We proudly welcome KF Cargo to our roster of 41 all-cargo airlines, and we wish them the greatest success in their expansion to MIA and into our bustling Latin American trade routes.”
“As the busiest U.S. airport for international freight and as the cargo gateway of the Americas, MIA’s extensive route network and trade infrastructure continue to attract new cargo carriers.”
