Swissport names Chris Severson Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer

  • Swissport has appointed Chris Severson as Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, effective January 2026, strengthening its leadership team as the company accelerates technology-driven transformation across its global aviation services network.
  • Reporting to President & CEO Warwick Brady, Severson will lead Swissport’s strategy, digital innovation and operational performance initiatives, including the company’s in-house innovation hub, Swissport’s lab.
  • Severson brings more than 20 years of international experience in large-scale transformation from previous roles at Terra Firma, Philip Morris International and Digicel Group.

Swissport has appointed Chris Severson as Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, effective January 2026. He brings over two decades of international experience in strategy, transformation, and operational leadership across multiple industries, joining Swissport’s executive team as the company drives innovation and technology-led transformation across its global operations.
Swissport, the global leader in aviation services, has appointed Chris Severson as Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, reporting to the President & CEO, Warwick Brady. He will lead Swissport’s transformation agenda, focusing on operational performance, digital innovation, and creating the airport experience of tomorrow.

Before joining Swissport, Chris served as Operating Managing Director at Terra Firma, one of Europe’s leading private equity firms, where he led transformation and value creation across a diversified portfolio. He also held senior leadership roles at Philip Morris International and Digicel Group, where he drove major organisational transformations across multiple markets.
