Embraer reaffirms its commitment to decarbonisation at COP30

A pioneer in sustainable aviation, Embraer (NYSE: EMBJ / B3: EMBJ3) is reaffirming its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions during COP30, the 30th UN Climate Change Conference – where the company will be present this weekend. Embraer is participating in three panels on the official agenda in both the Blue and Green Zones, discussing aviation decarbonization and sustainable development through education.

Representing the company in the discussions is Embraer’s Head of ESG, André Tachard, who will be in Belém, Pará, this Saturday (15). The executive’s first panel is scheduled for 12:30 pm in the Green Zone, addressing the theme “From PROBIOQAV to the Decarbonization of the Aviation Sector.” Emission mitigation is also the central topic of the panel “Multiple Solutions for Transport Decarbonization,” which takes place at 4:15 pm in the Blue Zone.

Synergies between academic research and the industrial sector will be explored in the panel “Innovative Universities – Connecting Universities and Companies for Ecological Transformation,” scheduled for 3:00 pm in the Blue Zone. Embraer will share its long-standing experience on the topic, from its founding – rooted in investments in education – to its current partnerships with research centres.
