• Peter Nordstrom has been appointed CEO of Rhenus Group’s Air & Ocean division in North America, bringing 25+ years of global experience in freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain management.
• He will focus on aligning regional operations with Rhenus’ global strategy, enhancing operational efficiency, expanding market presence in the U.S. and Canada, and driving growth.
• Nordstrom’s leadership aims to strengthen Rhenus’ North American footprint, capitalise on evolving customer demands, and identify new opportunities across air and ocean logistics.

The Rhenus Group has appointed Peter Nordstrom as Chief Executive Officer for its Air & Ocean division in North America. He will now oversee regional operations and align with the company’s global strategic vision.

With a proven track record of more than 25 years of international experience in the freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain management industry, Peter has led successful transformational projects, improved operational performance and accelerated growth across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Prior to joining Rhenus, he held senior positions at Ceva Logistics, Geodis, Kuehne + Nagel, and was most recently the Executive Vice President of Ocean Freight Americas at DB Schenker.

As CEO for the Air & Ocean division in North America, Peter will ensure strategic alignment with the global Air & Ocean strategy and lead organizational growth in Canada and the United States. He will increase operational efficiency, expand the regional market position, and accelerate growth. Peter will report directly to Jan Harnish, Member of the Board, Air & Ocean.
